We will be talking about #chandeliercrush now... What's the first thing that comes to mind when you think 'Chandelier'? I won't judge if you thought 'old' or 'old fashioned' or 'not cool or contemporary enough'. But you're probably thinking of something similar to this one... While a chandelier like this one would not find its way into my home, it is tastefully done and there are plenty of rooms it would complement perfectly! But I want to talk about modern chandeliers here. Technically speaking, a chandelier is a decorative hanging light with branches for light bulbs (or candles), so it could it could be interpreted in many ways! The pictures will say it better than words... Have a look at the ones that...
I am always looking for affordable ways to customise my home décor items to get away from the shop bought look. It always helps to keep any left over décor materials that you've had from previous projects, with a good imagination they can always come in handy. In this case I have used some white textured (and paintable) wallpaper I had left over from customising my daughter's wardrobe to create a bespoke picture frame. A few weeks ago I shared my inspiration for a picture shelf and my lounge decorating plans. After some shopping and dyi-ing and much re-arranging I am finally happy to reveal the picture shelf. Most of the photos were from our bump to baby photo shoots and are all so special to us, which makes the room look and feel personal instead of show-homey! The canvas is by Oliver Gal, bought at a Joss...

They're a must when you want to not just decorate your outdoor space, but also make yourself, your family and guests more comfy and really enjoy themselves! Don't have...
I am always shopping for new accessories for my home, and if you do the same you'll know that quite often we can find amazing accessories that would add maximum impact, but also with a price tag that would make a maximum hole in our wallets. With a bit of patience we don't have to give up on adding style to our homes, because there is always a cheaper alternative! So I have decided to share some of my finds here. #GoBig I have been looking for gold accents for my lounge, currently to style my bookcase, and I have come across this beautiful brass bowl by Tom Dixon. You would get an eye-catching conversation-starting piece, but with the price...
