Some people bake, some party, some just eat chocolate and chill. Here this Easter weekend we have decided to do a room makeover. And tackle the kitchen! Ok, I was very eager to get rid of the green on the walls, so I 'casually' made that the first room in my list as I wrote in this post! The kitchen is not quite finished yet, but after 2 days of painting we are getting there! You can follow the progress on my Insta until I do the big reveal over here! Until then, here's my kitchen makeover moodboard... I love the colourful green of the plants against the coolness of the grey. The brass on the shelf brackets (which I've ordered...
Destination: São Paulo! Once again off we went on a 12-hour-flight adventure with a toddler (no, we didn't sleep!), but I guess anyone would be willing to do that to swap the windy, cold, wet and grey UK February weather for a bit of sunshine. Or a lot of sunshine actually, it was enjoyably warm. We had a lot of fun spending time with the family, eating mouth-watering food & drinking real fresh juices (pineapple & mint mmm), going to see the Carnaval celebrations live for the first time instead of YouTube or catching up with the TV highlights, and of course, interiors shopping! (Keep reading for some really cool stuff you'll want in your home I found there!) I'll kick...

We came back from our lovely holiday at the end of February already aware that we would have 12 days (panic!) to pack our home and make the move happen. I guess we are really lucky because a process that could take months took a matter of weeks once we found a house we loved. But it was the worst timing. Ever. (have I mentioned that in those 12 days we were also both working, yep - full-time. with a toddler and two dogs. it wasn't easy. but we had to do it!)It was so...
I'm a huge lover of art. I can visualise art prints in each and every one of my walls, and at times I have to stop myself at one statement piece (or a few if we are talking about my picture shelf!). I just don't like looking at bare walls, and it fascinates me when they tell a story.I am not talking about expensive art. I am actually talking about canvases, prints, pictures, even DIY art. Anything goes, because there isn't a one size fits all formula when it comes to using art to decorate your home. On the other hand, there is so much variety out there that finding the right piece for you and your home can be...
